Sourced from growers on mostly cooler sites, 4% grenache included, and aged for 14 months in new and older French oak. Red fruit aromas are upfront in a bright, lifted bouquet, with some peppery spice, mocha, and a touch of regional earthiness. Buoyant and sweet-fruited on the palate, there's appealing freshness with a light twist of astringency to finish.
