At a full 10yo (8 on lees) a bright, pale straw hue is a marvel. Age has blessed it with delightful layers of freshly churned butter, almond nougat, toast and the slightest wisp of wood smoke, yet focus remains resolutely transfixed on impeccably vibrant lemon, grapefruit and crunchy apple fruit. The focused acidity of Tasmania draws out a long finish of refreshingly miniscule dosage of 3.5g/l and finely played bitter phenolic grip.
